Greg will give a video presentation and discuss Tesla's wireless power concept--and how large Tesla towers could unlock the secrets of natural lightning!


GUEST: Greg E. Leyh is the principal engineer for Lightning On Demand, a research facility for directly exploring the large-scale physics of natural lightning. Previous works include the Electrum Project, a 38-foot tall kinetic lightning sculpture currently operating in New Zealand, and the Marx Modulator, a 14 megawatt pulsed power supply for the International Linear Collider. His employment experience includes Hansen Laboratories at Stanford University, the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, and Survival Research Laboratories, where he designed the Taser Cannon and the 120L50K Experimental Coil. Current research directions include global wireless power the large-scale physics of natural lightning.

HOST: Marc Alessi is an attorney and serial entrepreneur.  He served in the New York State Assembly from 2005 to 2010, and currently serves as Executive Director of Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe. He is also Executive Director of the Business Incubator Association of New York State.  Marc is Founder and CEO of SynchroPET, a biomedical device start-up located at Stony Brook University’s Long Island High Technology Incubator. He is of counsel to Campolo, Middleton & McCormick LLP in Ronkonkoma where he runs the Economic Development practice, assisting companies and the entrepreneurs who run them from start-up to exit.
